The Chronic Life

What is The Chronic Life? You don’t feel good because one part of your body hurts. Or, many body parts hurt and they cascade around and through one another to make everything feel worse.

The Chronic Life is when you have a condition (lasting over three months) that throws your body into something called chronic inflammation. This attracts markers of inflammation and inflammatory cells to coalesce around areas of pathology: T-lymphocytes, macrophages. If you happen to also be overweight, chronic metabolic syndrome has a chance to reformulate your metabolism and cause, you guessed it: more inflammation.

Get out of the cascade with a dedication to look at things differently: diet and exercise, correcting hormones, and drinking water. It’s a lifestyle change, so do what you can each day by making small choices, better decisions, and putting yourself first:
